The Carroll A. Campbell Jr. Graduate Engineering Center (CGEC) is the academic component of CU-ICAR, with the nations's only master's and doctoral degree programs in automotive engineering. The CGEC's 85,000 sq. ft. building has specialized facilities targeting research activities in system integration, design, testing and development for both passenger and heavier vehicles. The CGEC test facilities include capabilities for full vehicle and engine/powertrain testing. The building, unique in its architecture, also contains state-of-the-art conference facilities.
