On Thursday, October 25, between 12:30 and 3:30 pm, attendees at SERMACS will have the opportunity to tour the Carroll A. Campbell Jr. Graduate Engineering Center (CGEC), and the CU-ICAR Business Development and Administrative offices, as well as the gallery and fitness center in the CU-ICAR office tower.
The Carroll A. Campbell Jr. Graduate Engineering Center (CGEC) is the academic component of CU-ICAR, with the nations's only master's and doctoral degree programs in automotive engineering. The CGEC's 85,000 sq. ft. building has specialized facilities targeting research activities in system integration, design, testing and development for both passenger and heavier vehicles. The CGEC test facilities include capabilities for full vehicle and engine/powertrain testing. The building, unique in its architecture, also contains state-of-the-art conference facilities.
